Ten Days Out

Ten days. I'm not sure I ever really thought I'd get here.
Starting with 730 days, you'd think ten days left would be a piece of cake.
Wrong. But not in a bad way. I just want him to be here already.
I'm making plans and talking as if he's home, then I remember, "oh not yet."
This week I got my airport out fit and got my hair all nice and colored.
I just have to make it through this week.
I basically feel like I am about to throw up at any point. Like right now.
Next Saturday I'm running a half marathon, that should be interesting. It'll also be cameron's "official" two year mark. Too bad he's not coming home until Tuesday.
I have his itenery. He gets into SLC at 1:05 pm on October 23.
Kristin is helping me make posters, just like she helped me pick out my airport outfit. I guess she's trying to earn her keep as "favorite bridesmaid."
I'm nervous, and at the same time, completely at peace.
We have our fist date planned. A trip up to our favorite lake. It should be a fall wonderland.
Also, I forgot how to kiss. I'm hoping he has too. Awkward kissing, here we come!

And that is a enough rambling for today.

oh wait, we're going to hawaii in 35 days.

Countdown of Things to Come

I can not tell you how happy I am that it is fall...Here is a little countdown of good things coming to me this season.

26 days: SOJO half marathon. I can't wait until I can sleep in on Saturday's and not have to run ten miles. How will I ever train for a full marathon?
29 days: missionary comes home
30 days: first date with cameron. We are taking a road trip up American Fork Canyon and having a picnic at the top. It will be late October and absolutely goregous (and probably freezing). We are going to talk and cuddle all day.
37 days: Halloween. Cameron, Dad, and I will be passing out candy to trick-or-treaters and eating pizza. Sounds like a perfect night.
43 days: election day. All the craziness of my internship will finally be over. And we will have a new president (or so I hope). I can't wait to spend the night watching the election returns all dressed up and fancy. I love the political life.
47 days: road trip to Cameron's grandma & grandpa's property (maybe. I think it'll be this weekend)
54 days: Mayday Parade concert.
55 days: MAUI. MAUI. MAUI. with cameron, my family, and my amazing extended family. It's going to be the best vacation ever.
59 days: Thanksgiving. With cameron. and all my lovely family.

I'll stop here. There's more good to come in december and hopefully an official proposal somewhere in here. This girl is excited about the future and happy it's finally here.

An Update

I have my math 1050 final this thursday. After that class, I will never ever ever have to take algebra  again. ever. Well, if I pass my final that is.

Working on the Romney campaign is completely amazing. We have some big events to come and less than 100 days until the election. It's going to be a stressful week and things will only get more stressful until november. But it is such a rewarding experience. I am so blessed.

Because of my internship I can't tweet, fb, or even blog any thing politically. No more political rants or posts...at least until november 7th.

Cameron will be home in 85 days.

I bought a new bed this weekend. It's a queen bed and I can't wait to sleep in it. Sadly, it'll be lonely for a few more months. Next spring things will be better.

We move out on wednesday. Three days. I am beyond excited.

The olympics are on. I've been camped out on my couch for the last few hours. It's fantastic.

School starts soon. Mixed emotions for sure.

I think that's all.

Say

You know that great song, Say? The one that goes "say what you need to say?"

Well, here's what I need to say:

- UTA buses really need to look before they just pull out. Honestly, I almost died on the way to work.
- I like to stay up late, but hate getting up early and really hate that I repeat my bad habit every night
- Obamacare. I'm not even going to talk about this right now. I'll visit my political blog this weekend and really let my feelings known. As for now, I'm pissed. Seriously pissed off.
- Day one. Job one. Repeal. (okay...I'll stop).
- Menchies will never get old. Neither will the melted peanut butter.
- I haven't run since saturday, and oddly, I'm okay with that.
- I miss cameron. It's been a stressful few weeks and I just want someone to cuddle with and some one to tell me it'll all be okay.
- At the same time, I am getting really scared about his return. What if? That's all I can think about.....
- I hate obama (I had to do that one).
- Our house went up for sale today. Signs and everything. I guess this is real.
- Instagram is the best. That and pinterest.
- I don't get fireworks. At all. Colorado, Arizona, and Utah are literally burning down and idiot people still want to buy a bunch of fireworks? Are you seriously. Props to you Herbie, for outlawing fireworks outside of our cities. We can't afford to let our state burn down.
- 117 days
- 131 days
- October 20 - SOJO half marathon
- November 9-10 - Vegas Ragnar
- I'm kind of craving a twitter...just to follow political figures and fox news contributors. Is that completely lame?
- I really need to wash my car. Really.
- Speaking of cars...I've almost had mine for a whole year. 12 payments. Best thing I ever bought. I am so proud of that purchase and how hard I work each day to make my payments. That, right there, is my piece of adulthood.
- I am the worst nail painter...ever
- Mona on saturday? Can you say road trip?!
- Olympics.......
- Just one more.....In order to repeal Obama care we have to get rid of Obama. Sounds good to me.
